This cancer care package is dedicated to my beloved friend who has lost the fight with Breast Cancer and Bone Cancer at the same time. Radiation and Chemo Treatments left her exhausted, depressed, in pain and achy all over. As a cancer survivor myself (this is Marina writing), I sympathize and wanted to do something to help, yet we were states apart... I do gifts, so my first thought was to put a cancer care gift box for women together, but it wasn't that easy. She didn't want pity. She needed moral support. She needed encouragement and the will to keep fighting. That's how the concept of this gift box came about. A cup for tea, a pair of inspirational socks to keep her feet warm during treatments, hand sanitizer and a few other little things to put a smile on her face and make her feel just a little better. Most importantly however, to let her know I was there with her (if not in body, in my soul), supporting her every step of the way. Thinking of her, day and night, and making it a priority to encourage her to keep on fighting.
